The Thunder right now could definitely make it to the playoffs as perhaps a 6th seed without Russell. Correct me if im wrong but the Warriors have a losing record without Curry. They will struggle to even get in the playoffs. When he does play they are favorites to win the title. When Russell plays they are 1st or 2nd round exits because he doesnt know how to turn on when in the playoffs. And will fade evenmore if Playoff P disappears. Because all season PG13 has carried this team while Russell regularly shoots 3/18, 4/20, 4/22, 3/20, 10/31. When he shoots over 40% its rare. And the Thunder's offense has been mediocre this season, so Westbrook isnt helping the cause. The only reason they win games is because their #1 defense led by PG13, Steven Adams, and Grant. Russ has played great defense this season but lets be honest, hes benefited from Anchors around him. Something that isnt exclusive to roles if your a superstar is scoring. Because Curry is playing with the best scorer in the league and is STILL averaging just as much Pts as PG13. Realize what all the superstars in the league have in common. Thats score the basketball. Which results in their team winning. Curry is the #1 Reason Golden State are favorites and is the best player on the best team. Russell is the second best player on a team that only predicated defense to win games in that case he isnt even the 3rd best player on the team. And a team whos a 1st to second round exit And as i said, Curry having Klay as a wingman is equivalent to Russ having PG13. 73-9>48-33 If Russell was really a better player, the team wouldnt be worse the more shots he take. Russell cant do that 2017 season again. While its possible that Curry can replicate his 2016 season. Thats why Curry is better. He has consistency. - William Westbrook: +X҉îçr҉øñïX҉ I believe people can't talk about Westbrook being inconsistent when he averaged a triple double 2 years in a row (one with PG and Melo). Billy wanted Melo to be more or the scorer in the beginning, but as shown, he couldn't. So that's why Melo was benched more than usual. But if Westbrook averages another triple double this year, i don't see what's inconsistent. Last year PG13 wasn't consistent. He had games like Westbrook has this year. Both of them are off and on, this game is just a special one when both of them were on. Westbrook plays a role not much pgs play in the NBA. He allows himself to be the 2nd option and pass the ball to PG. Last year in the playoffs vs the Jazz, George and Westbrook were both having issues with shooting and consistency. Now I'll admit Westbrook had his man, he had Durant. Now Curry does and they're balling. But with Durant he had Klay and Draymond. Westbrook only had Durant, now he only has PG13. Without Curry, this year they've shown the warriors can NOT cooperate well. But the Thunder are decent without him because Paul George starts scoring 40 a couple games and going off. Westbrook little slump needs to end before all star gamd ends or the Thunder aren't gonna make is past the 2nd round. It's funny cause I'm always a "bad okc fan" because i say i like Curry. Like i like the competition curry brings and the fire he has. Him vs Westbrook is my favorite thing to watch. Westbrook vs Durant will never compare to how Westbrook and Curry went at it. Curry is consistent yes, he's the best player on the warriors in my opinion, yes, but I think I'm just way too biased from watching Westbrook from UCLA and looking up to him all the way until now. Westbrook was the reason I like basketball and started watched the NBA. I appreciate the talent, hard work, and dedication he displays for the thunder. He'll always be my favorite tunder player.

Hes done this for his entire Career. Every season, and he cant seen to have a hot streak or a cold streak. If you dont call that inconsistent i dont know what is. And at times he does it at the wrong time. And his triple doubles are overrated. First, we know hes a volume scorer so hes going to score 10 pts, hes gifted Rebounds so we know hes going to average 10 boards, and the gameplan includes Russell being the ballhandler most of the time. I dont think he stat pads, and i think he deserves 10 ast because he is the best passer in the league imo, but when you start saying him Averging A Triple double that hes obviously benefited to get them 2 years in a row, is the Reason hes "Consistent" you start to lose intellectual credibility. And its even worse because you literally threw your argument out the window by comparing PG13 who you said was inconsistent to Russ this year. Dont be a hypocrite. You also need to stop bringing up How Curry has much better teamates than Russ .Especially since i brought up 2016 where the Warriors didn't even have a super team and went 73-9 that only ended because Curry wasnt 100% and was rushed back onto the floor after the injury he suffered the first round, Draymond got suspended, and Bogut got hurt. This 2018 Thunder team has just as much talent as that 2016 Warriors team if not more and the Warriors broke the winning record. Granted, Russ has taken a new role which is a big reason why curry is better. When you hurt your team so much that you have to alter your role to Have PG13 carry the team. When Durant went to the Warriors, Curry still averaged 27 a game and didnt have to change his role despite having 2 other Elite scorers on the floor. This debate is a waterdowned Bron vs MJ debate.
