"Why can't my laser burn?" - Some Tips on Laser Focusing and Burning styropyro

I have been getting a lot of questions on how to burn with a focusable laser so this video should cover most questions. A common mistake many people make is to focus their lasers to infinity for burning tricks which doesn't work too well. This makes them think they have been sent an underspec laser when in reality the laser is just not focused correctly. When burning you want the smallest dot possible on your target because there is more power on a smaller spot, which causes more heat to be generated over a smaller area. Color is also a huge factor in burning, the darker the color the easier something is to burn. If you have trouble lighting matches then color them black, I'll cover this more in my next video.

Lasers used were a BudgetGadgets 200mW Red and a DX 200mW Red "dilda".
